Responsibilities: Under the direction of a licensed clinical staff member, provides patient care using defined procedures and standards in accordance with the goals of the unit and the philosophy of Community Medical Centers. Performs and assists with elemental aspects of patient care such as nutrition, bed scale weights, I/O, etc. in coordination with the patient care team. Assists licensed clinical staff as needed with direct patient care. Qualifications: Education High School Diploma/GED required Successful completion of one of the following: Obtain a diploma / certificate from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program, Obtain a diploma / certificate from an accredited Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program or Nursing Fundamental courses from an accredited clinical RN or LVN program (typically done in the 1st semester) required Incumbents hired into position prior to 10/01/2018 are grandfathered with their existing education Experience 1 year of experience as a nursing assistant in an acute care hospital preferred Licenses and Certifications BLS - Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - If qualifying as a CNA must possess an active or inactive CNA certification issued by the California Department of Public Health (Not required for RN or LVN students / graduates) Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) - If qualifying as an EMT, must possess an active or inactive EMT certification issued by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (Not required for RN or LVN students / graduates) Apply Now Opens a New Window. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
