Inspection Technician (Residential Solar)

They will also be responsible for completing service calls for customers throughout the region. Job Duties/ Responsibilities Review pictures and gather all necessary part to complete inspection on site. Perform pre-inspection on site prior to inspector showing up Call AHJ to confirm inspection time frame in the AM Set up and tie off ladders for the city/county inspectors Rivet placards Open electrical panels & junction boxes so the inspector can observe inside Maintaining the safety of themselves and others by adhering to all written and verbal instructions, promptly reporting and/or correcting all hazards or unsafe conditions, questioning nonstandard operations or environmental factors that may involve unmitigated hazards, and providing feedback to Field Manager on all safety issues Take notes for corrections and notify Field Manager of any issues or updates Keep inspection vehicle stocked with the necessary materials Service solar panel systems when necessary Ability to repair all types of Roofs as well as Ground Mounts Ability to add or remove panels on solar systems Able to identify/isolate roof leaks Ability to understand or have experience in Electrical Panels including Sub Panels (Main breaker derate, conduit bending, relocating circuits, etc.) Ability to understand or have experience in Monitoring equipment (Cat5, Zigbee, Router, Range Extender and ETC ) Able to read and understand plans Ability to understand or have experience with all AHJ guidelines within region Ability to troubleshoot an inverter that is reporting production loss Ability to understand or have experience with all types of Solar Equipment (Enphase, Solaredge, Sunpower and ETC ) Ability to perform RMA's. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
