Automotive Service Manager (Experienced)

The commercial health of the store, the appropriate safety measures for the store personnel and customers. The Service Manager must supervise, train, hire and discipline store personnel without deviation of Company Policy's. The Service Manager Must follow all policies and procedures established by American Tire Depot. All other administrative duties, including opening and closing with end of day procedures. QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Commercial Tire Experienced is preferred Ability to sell all American Tire Depot Products and Services. Provide positive leadership to store employees. Knowledge of profit and loss statements, with skill to improve profits. Ability to work without close supervision. Ability to deal with company information in a confidential manner. Good written and verbal skills required. General mathematical skills required. Ability to perform some heavy and light physical labor. (10 to 100 lbs lifting). General mechanical skills and knowledge. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the store's sales and profit goals of assigned store. Responsible for all Management Function in the absence of the Store Manager. Perform all aspects of Store Operations including but not limited to Sales, Office and Shop Management. Responsible to insure compliance to all Company Policies, Programs and Procedures. Conduct presentations of weekly store meetings to review Safety, Policies, Procedures and Product information changes as required. Set goals and strategies to ensure the successful accomplishments of budgeted sales goals, gross profit goals, expense control and payroll efficiencies. Responsible for Stores Inventory along with Shipping and Receiving of products and merchandise. Ensures prompt and consistent Opening and Closing of the Store based on Store Hours of Operation. Oversees Daily Cash handling to ensure proper Opening and Closing Procedures to include coordinating and verifying Bank Deposits on a daily basis. Responsible for maintaining and safeguarding all Company and Store Assets. Responsible for Inventory Replenishment and prompt receiving of all Inventory Shipments to the Store Location. Ensures that all employees maintain a clean and organized work area. Ensures that all employees adhere to the Company Dress Code. Demonstrates the ability to perform duties of subordinates as required. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: High School or equivalent. Previous Automotive Experience in a related field and or knowledge preferred. Computer skills necessary. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
