Position Summary┬ 

The Contract Management Supervisor will oversee Contract Management personnel located in either Bishop Ranch or the Clovis regional offices, which may include Contract Administrators, Contract Specialists, Contract Performance Managers, and Contract Field Specialists.┬  Supervisors will work in partnership with other Contract Management Supervisor to ensure consistency, clarity, and transparency of contract management lifecycle across the Electric Transmission Service Territory. In addition, the Supervisor will work with our Sourcing partners and the various lines of business of Transmission Operations to plan, negotiate, write, and administer the contracting process. Supervisors will be responsible for delivering quality contracts with tangible earned value to PG&E internal customers, while maintaining the highest degree of safety for employees, coworkers, service providers and the general public.┬ 



  • 5 years of relative┬ experience┬ with Contract Managment or within a Transmission/Distribution construction environment
  • High School Diploma or GED



  • Demonstrated ability to work and interact with diverse groups of people (internal and external), ability to gather and assimilate information from large groups of people, and ability to communicate effectively and professionally with people.┬ 

  • Supervisory experience leading a team of individual contributors.┬ 

  • Demonstrated understanding of the transmission line and substation construction business.┬ 

  • BA/BS in Business, Engineering, Technical or related field, or comparable job experience.┬ 

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the IBEW/ESC union agreements.┬ 

  • Understanding of PG&E Contractor Safety Program, ISNetworld and Gold Shovel.┬ 


Manage a team of Contract Administrators, Contract Specialists, Contract Performance Managers and Contract Field Specialist that are involved in:┬ 

  • Manages a 24x7 contracting program including after hour's contract deployments.┬ 
  • Manages various functional roles to deliver and manage quality contracts from end-to-end
  • Manages the billing and ongoing administrative support for existing contracts.┬ 
  • Utilizes financial, legal, and electric system knowledge in negotiation and signing of vendor contracts as well as in authorizing payment on contracts.┬ 
  • Coaches, develops, and leads the team members to achieve the department goals and the individual's development objectives.┬ 
  • Contributes to group financial performance by monitoring budget and system performance, controlling costs, and reviewing and approving expenses.┬ 
  • Regular interactions with LOB's, Environmental, Land Department and Project Management organizations.┬ 
  • Present to audiences of internal customers, stake holders, PG&E Senior Leadership and Vendors



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
