Responsibilities:
We are looking for a night shift Charge Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team! When you join this supportive team, you will coordinate patient flow within the care area, and facilitate admissions, discharges and transfers to maximize unit capacity.
You will be essential for the comprehensive care of new moms and babies as you coordinate patient flow, staff assignments and oversight of patient safety, quality and regulatory activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred2 years of experience as a Staff RN in the area of assignment or demonstrated competency by achieving a minimum of 35 points on the RN Competency Model Evaluation form required6 months experience as a Relief Charge RN or in a team leadership role requiredRN - Current State of California Registered Nurse license requiredBLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association (AHA) requiredCertifications as required for the unitAdditional Certification Requirements:
Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire or transferBasic Arrhythmia must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transferElectronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) Course must be obtained within 6 months of date of hire or transferNeonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification must be obtained within 6 months of hire or transferCertified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) by the National Certification Corporation (NCC) must be obtained within 1 year of hire or transferPlease note:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
